A legacy of excellence in education

Sunshine Private School was established in 2008 by Nomakando Kangira, beginning as a pre‑primary and aftercare institution in Windhoek North. The founder, a seasoned educationist with a Master’s Degree in Education Administration, Planning and Policy Studies, envisioned a platform for holistic learning.

From the first Grade 1 class in 2012, the school has grown to serve over 2,000 students, offering Pre‑Primary to Grade 7. The secondary division, Sunshine Private College, expanded to Grade 12 in 2021. Teacher training degree programmes further reaffirm our commitment to advancing education.

School Theme Song: “How Great Thou Art”

Show lyrics

1 Oh Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder
Consider all the worlds Thy hands have made;
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy power throughout the universe displayed.

Refrain:
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee;
How great Thou art, how great Thou art!

2 And when I think that God, His Son not sparing,
Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in;
That on the cross, my burden gladly bearing,
He bled and died to take away my sin.

Refrain
